About Watercourse Way

Watercourse Way opened its doors in Palo Alto, Calif., in 1980. Inspired by the natural hot springs of Tassajara, a tranquil zen retreat in Carmel Valley. Experience the serenity of one of our private hot tub rooms with steam or sauna. Treat yourself to a relaxing massage, rejuvenating facial or luxurious spa treatment such as the Champagne Chocolate treatment.

The Watercourse Way experience

For more than 42 years, Watercourse Way has provided its clients a serene, private experience like no other. We want your visit to be relaxing and unique, so our facility does not include crowded locker rooms or communal hot tubs. Instead, our award-winning spa features exquisitely designed private hot tub and massage rooms that offer our clients a charming, peaceful respite. Groups are encouraged to reserve our “connecting” hot tub rooms (Eight Stars and Nine Bats), and we always offer one hour or 90-minute couples massages, perfect for couples or friends.

Sunday through Thursday 8 a.m. – 11:30 p.m.
Friday and Saturday 8 a.m. – 12:30 a.m.

Open Christmas Eve 8 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day

Open New Year’s Eve 8 a.m. – 12:30 a.m.

Open New Year’s Day 8 a.m. – 11:30 p.m.
